S'Moore Gifts owner, Brittany Moore was destined to share her talents with the world through creating great food. Some of her earliest memories include watching her mother and father prepare mouth-watering desserts. She was given the gift of a simple yellow cake recipe in her early teens that she still uses to this day and she hasn't looked back! Friends would ask for cakes on their birthdays in high school and she never failed to deliver. While attending college at Grambling State University, she was afforded the opportunity to intern with Chef Dana Herbert (TLC's Next Great Baker, Season 1 winner) at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott in the summer of 2006. There she learned the essential tools to excel in the baking industry- creativity, quality recipes and passion. She returned to school energized to use what she learned and share with classmates. It was then she decided that she'd eventually want her own bakery. During the holiday season of 2009, Brittany began gifting and selling baked goods to family and friends. At the gentle nudge of close friends and family she began taking orders for quality confections on a regular basis. Equipped with secret family recipes, creativity and love of good food, there's no limit to what Brittany can accomplish. This self-proclaimed bake snob doesn't believe in cutting corners, and her work shows that. She hand crafts all items on her menu from scratch and treats each customer as if they are a guest in her home. She wants you to taste the love and effort put into each gift. Who doesn't like presents?
